That's a lot of yen, then.

At Nissan, we like to get involved. That’s why since 1974, our Nissan Science Foundation has given lots of lovely grants to significant research, mostly in natural science. We’ve given over 2100 projects grants totaling 6.2 billion yen.

 

And not just to people in glasses and white lab coats. We’re sticking our noses into other big challenges, like the environment and education. Under our new initiative, ‘Creating solutions for social progress’, we’re putting our money into research. So later on down the road, we can provide benefits like safety performance for car owners, and promote science and technology as well as environmental education.
