What are your musical influences?
When I was younger I used to listen to a lot of pop from the 60/70's such as James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, The Beatles, The Hollies and then the Jazz came in a bit later, Ella Fitzgerlad and Billie Holiday are my favourite jazz singers. Then in the more recent stuff I like Nikka Costa, Emiliana Torrini and Regina Spektor a lot.

Would you consider yourself Swedish or French?
I'm Swedish born in Stockholm but moved to Paris when I was four because of my dad’s job. We stayed for 8 years, then moved back to Sweden. After that I've always been split between the two cultures, going back and forth. So I guess I'm a bit of both.

How would you describe your musical style?
I thinks it's really hard to describe music. I write songs without having any specific style in mind while doing it. I guess the result is a mix between pop and jazz.

What is your greatest ambition?
Making music is expressing yourself and connects with others, one thing I'm working on every day is to develop my tool of expression to reach out to as many as possible.

What is your definition of energy?
Energy is what helps us do things. It's what gives us light, warmth and makes us grow. It's the fuel for all life.

Describe your perfect day.
A perfect day is a day that includes music, friends and family. Since my favourite part of music is sharing it on stage, which usually happens during tour it's very rare to have friends and family near at the same time, but it does happen. All this combined with sun and good food is heaven! ;)

Who is your role model?
I don't have a specific role model but I meet people to look up to and that inspires me almost every day.

Train or plane?
Train!

What was your favourite gig?
It's not always the best performances that are remembered as the best gig. For me a good gig is when there's a connection and sharing between the audience and the people on stage. I'm learning to care less about eventual mistakes but to concentrate more on sharing a nice moment with the audience and the musicians and that makes me enjoy every new gig more and more.

Where do you want to be in 10 years' time?
I have no idea of where I would like to be geographically but I'm hoping to have a lot of travelling behind me and in front of me as well, that I'll still be as eager to learn new things and by that be better at what I'm doing today. I also would like to work on other projects than my own, perhaps helping someone younger just like someone helped me in the beginning. By then I will be 35 so I'm also hoping that I would have a family ;)
